WAD Magazine

Actually, I have read this magazine (WAD) since I came to UK, May 2002. I’ve got my first sight on it from Lowina. She showed me one of the best special issue of the magazine (I still think, it is the best issue ever)... I love its concept, I love its photography, I love its style…. But actually when I really read it was just since last few issue… I think it was around the summer issue of 2004… It is kind of fashion + lifestyle… Honestly, there are more than too many this kind of magazines around. But why I really love this magazine is because, first, it is in a reasonable price (it is only £4.30 while most of the similar magazine from US are £10-£25, and not increased during this 3 years) For a poor student, it is so important for choosing a magazine indeed. Another reason is that, as I said before, I love the photos. I just love their styling and the idea of their photography. It is kind of urban fashion and young fashion brands… Actually I am not really into those street fashions, products and graffiti they use to talk about, but I do like the way they present things. Every issue, they have one main theme. And all the products, fashions, lifestyle and the entire photograph are taken with linkage of the theme… They don’t really emphasis on the image of the specific products… but only want to use their style to present the idea, with the products they have to use. It is just cool to me that not only being commercial but always the idea first. Anyway, the idea is the biggest The last reason, it sounds not a reason I know, is it is written by French (main) and English haha… It sounds cool~~~ to tell people I m reading a French magazine haha…

The point of why I write this blog about WAD is they have done a great research on the topic “RED” (and REDHEAD) Actually, they use to have great research but on this universal topic I find it really informative and useful and want to share with everyone. And surely another main reason is I have time to do it now.
