Drawings-Cutlery

Actually, I have done these more than a month a ago, just after the pattern drawing weeks... but just too lazy to upload here ;p haha... also, I thought I still have a lot to draw, but many knieves with different purpose and different name look pretty much the same to me when I did some further research.... so I just haven't done any more drawings.

Eating is kind of most important thing for human and the tools people use for cooking or eating is interesting me. I remember, there was a teacher of mine (probably in my highschool) said we can see the level of western culture is not good as chinese from what people use for eating. He said they haven't create or develop the cutlery but only minimize the weapon they use to kill animals. I was quite agree with him when I was young, haha... But surely, I have got different understanding now~~ haha he just haven't seen the world, living in his own chinese loving world... He probably need to go around the world, accepting other culture, before being a teacher. Of cause I love using chopsticks, it is not too bad to use the minimized weapon to eat though... haha

here are some special cutlery which I saw in RCA graduation show. The first one is a knife with two blades. It can slice equal weidth steaks. The second one is a fork design for people with strange habit (but I don't really understand that). The last one is a spoon with 2 level. The designer said people can drink more soup each time. I think it is totally pointless (or maybe I have misunderstood him).

This one is quite good deisgn. It can stand on the side of dishes.
